Welcome to Dingle Doggo

Where every dog is individual

In a world flooded with choices, what truly sets us apart? At Dingle Doggo, we believe that differences are our strengths, and we take pride in what makes us unique. So what is it that sets us apart?

**Our Passion for Dogs**

We put our heart into everything we do! Our team isn’t just here to work; we’re here to connect with you and your dog, understand their needs, and ensure they have the best experience possible. We truly believe that just like people, every dog is individual, and they should be treated that way. Whether its boarding or suggesting great natural treats, we want to hear all about your furry family member to ensure we provide the best service we can for their needs.

**Our ethical stance to dog care and training**

At Dingle Doggo we only believe in ethical ways to care for your dog, our methods of care are based on science based knowledge, only ever using positive reinforcement and putting your dog’s wellbeing and emotions at the forefront of everything we do.

**Our Commitment to keep learning**

Dog ownership has changed so much over the years, gone are the days of taking the dog for a walk and then leaving them to sleep until dinner time. Dog’s are a big part of our families and its great to see that there’s a lot more focus and commitment to meeting a dog’s needs to ensure they are as happy as possible during their time on this earth! We are always learning about different ways to help and understand our furry friends, ensuring that nothing is lost in communication. Whether its talking about enrichment, training or what treats would suit your doggo best, we are committed to keep learning so that we can pass valuable information onto our customers.

Our team

Suzie
Suzie is the main face of Dingle Doggo, running the kennels as her full time job alongside all the admin and the online shop. Ever since she was a young girl, she has had a huge love for dogs. Growing up she wasn’t allowed a dog of her own due to not having a garden, therefore she took it upon herself to start walking dogs from the local neighbourhood at the tender age of 13. Despite dreaming of working with dogs, it never quite happened as life took her in other directions, before coming around full circle. Following time volunteering in dog rescue centres in both Portugal and Ireland, Suzie decided to turn her passion for dogs into a full time career with the launch of Dingle Doggo with the fantastic support of partner Chris.

Suzie’s qualifications:
Level 3 Canine Communication, Behaviour & Welfare
Canine First Aid (AniEd)
Talk Dog (one day seminar lead by Alex Wilson)

Chris
Chris works part time at Dingle Doggo, alongside his own busy Stone Masonary business. Chris helps with the care of the guests in the kennels as well as keeping on top of the never ending list of maintenance tasks!
Having owned dogs all of his life, Chris has a real love for our furry friends and loves nothing more than to wind down at the end of a busy day by coming in to see the guests for a quick cuddle before they go to bed! They say that dogs can sense true ‘dog’ people, something that rings true for Chris as he has even won the hearts of dogs that have a fear of men; through his patience and kind nature.
